A 45W USB-C wall charger for Samsung’s Super Fast Charging 2.0 tier — the higher-wattage step up flagship Galaxy phones and tablets use when both the charger and the device support it. It runs USB Power Delivery 3.0 with PDO and PPS, negotiating the exact voltage/current profile each device asks for instead of holding one fixed level, which keeps a fast charge from running hotter than it needs to. The USB-C port is not locked to Samsung either: plug in any USB-C phone, tablet or small laptop and it delivers whatever that device safely accepts, up to 45W. Built-in protection against over-voltage, over-current, short-circuits and overheating covers both the charger and whatever is plugged into it. Standby draw is under 5mW, so it is fine to leave plugged into the wall between charges. The 2-pin housing stays compact for travel. Adapter only — you will need a 5A-rated USB-C cable to actually pull the full 45W; a standard 3A cable will bottleneck it.

For 45W and above, yes — GaN runs cooler and is roughly half the size for the same output. Below 25W the difference is small.
